If a thought is written down on paper, can it be considered tangible?

Can one really touch or hold a thought?

  2. Even written down, the piece of paper is only a medium in which the thought is presented.
Furthermore, if this thought is argued to be 'tangible' even for a fleeting second, once read, this statement is again manifested as a thought to the reader.
